Singer/songwriter Justin Trawick has been hosting an event called "The Nine" for a couple of years now, and it has been showcasing local musicians in various areas. The format is sort of a round-robin of performers, with a round of two songs each, followed by another round of a single song each. I recorded The Nine last time they were in Baltimore on March 4th at the Metro Gallery and have posted the audio below. The groupings are by artist rather than by round, with the last song of each grouping being from the last round. The musicians featured were Garrett Anderson, Heather Audrey Lloyd, Jason Ager, Leify Green, Matt Boyer, Skribe, Swamp Candy, Tim Kaye and Justin Trawick. The Nine returns to the Metro Gallery this Wednesday the 23rd.
